"Typical" Mozart consists of writing incredibly simple motifs then 
repeating them ad nauseum, whether they be in the chug-chug 
concerto stylee, or on the crash-bang-wallop symphony/requiem 
"tip".

A guy who supposedly started writing music when he was a 
toddler, and who barely developed his style up until his death.  It's 
all opinion, obviously, but I fail to be moved by anything he ever 
wrote (that I heard/played).  He wrote a couple of half decent 
concertos (including the only clarinet concerto I've ever been able 
to tolerate for more than 20 seconds), but they were ruined by the 
unimaginative, repetitive accompaniment.  Chug-chug-chug-chug.

If he wasn't already dead, I'd send him the same way as 
Vorderman and the gypsies.  Pass the vinegar...
