I should be calm. I sent that in the heat of passion and frustration. I tire of
my Schooled friends knocking what could be called the standards simply becuase
they are tired of playing them (i.e. don't have the patience to perform the
peice correctly). I see no love of music in that attitude and therfore will not
call them musicians but justly underpaid hacks.
You are probably correct on this Pinock fellow, I have never heard this.
Improvisation in the Baroque world is difficult to accomplish but much
appreciated when blended correctly. I imagine he is like Roge then- well paid
for a reason- a blend of passion and skill.
