Erm. Des. This is a mailing list. We communicate differently here to
the way we communicate in the Real World. As I was commenting to John,
I have published a couple of books whose main claim to fame is the
clarity of their prose. I'm sorry, but I'm going to do a bit of an
Alan Partridge just to rub your nose in it a bit. These are exerpts
from reviews by The TES, New Scientist etc:

"simple, attractive and very clear"
"easy to read"
"The book explains most of the technicalities in a straightforward
manner without being patronising"
"This book knows how to address its audience, gives useful advice"
"approachable in style"

See Des. You're wrong. Whether you're a grotesquely ugly freak, I'm
not sure, as I don't believe I've seen a photo.

You MUST practise a bit of .. verfremdung.. lest your brain strokes or
your heart attacks.

God's way of forcing BEMLI back on topic..
