Agreed. I've noticed that kids today don't use the word generation as well as we did back in the day. The idea that the mobile phone generation preceded the SMS generation preceded the ipod generation, damnit man, how fast do these people reproduce?


Two people are of different generations if and only if one is old enough to be the other one's parent. Maybe with some slack to allow for wider societal generations you could straddle. You should be one generation less than your parents. I'll allow one in between if it's absolutely necessary.
