Zomg, really? It all looked a bit self-conscious for my liking. We
watched Children of Men at the weekend; now there's a fucking good film.
Really and truly. It's just heartwarming, in all the right ways. And very, very funny.
Yes, Children of Men was utterly incredible. I haven't been gobsmacked for a while, but that did it.

Click? Click? Have we taught you nothing? Adam Sandler is the new Rob
Schneider. DE DERP DA DERP TA TEETLY DERPEE DERPEE DUMB. Um.
You're right. Click was shit. It wasn't quite sure whether it was a cautionary tale or a slapstick comedy. But Kate Beckinsdale is the most beautiful woman in the entire world.
Martin will tell you that Thank You for Smoking was the best comedy of
last year. He's wrong, but it is good fun. Oh, and your kids should like
Monster House, and you shouldn't find it too unenjoyable either.
We did Monster House at the cinema - I really enjoyed it. It reminded me of the family movies I used to watch in the eighties, when family movies were good.
Tell me, BEMLi: what shall I watch this weekend? I have available: This
Film is Not Yet Rated, Flags of Our Fathers, Mission Impossible 3, A
Scanner Darkly, Apocalypto.
Scanner is brilliant. Not really a popcorn movie, but really super. MI:3 is a big bag of balls. Just.. just... BURN IT WITH FIRE. Truly awful.
