Yes, we could compare it with the fact that I will quite happily spend the same on a steak in Metro. Or on a couple of bottles of wine.

And really, what price (a chickens organic) freedom? Can such things have monetary value? CAN THEY?

Or you could just tell me what you would pay for a decent chicken.

I was just a little surprised, that's all. I was informed of said chickens by a two family man who is an academic. I wouldn ;t of thought he could sped 15 quid on a chicken, even if you can get three meals out of it. (The woman clear had some sort of myopia and was unable to observe my belly.)

Well, would you spend 15 quid on a fat bird to roast on a sunday?
