It depends on the size of the chicken. When you buy a good quality chicken, it tends to have denser, more flavoursome meat and less injected saline solution. A big chicken can easily give you around 8 portions-worth over a week; even with the price there, which is a little higher than I'd spend, but not astronomically, you pay 1.88 per protein component of each meal, which is probably actually what you should be spending thereon - with cheap *complex* carbs providing the rest.
