Hey, listen, until I was 23 I weighed 8.5 stone (I'm 6ft). I was so thin you
could've played my ribs like a xylophone. Nothing I did allowed me to put on
weight. Tried everything. Then, all of a sudden, in my mid twenties I
doubled in weight over a period of 5 months. My diet didn't change, neither
did my lifestyle. Since then I have tried to lose weight through low-fat,
exercise etc. etc. Morginal success, at best. The only thing that worked was
the stress of my seperation and divorce from my first wife, but I don't want
to go through that kind of thing again.
No kidding, Victoria, one of the things I have noticed on this diet is how
much sugar, wheat and processed oil there is in everything. These are all
things that have gone from my diet and I feel sooooooo much better.
Seriously. Energy levels are way up. Up until I started this I HAD to have a
sleep after a meal. Not any more, I don't. No more headaches, either. Heart
rate reduced from 90bpm (at rest) to about 70bpm.
My metabolism loves this diet. I don't *want* to eat the "forbidden" foods.
