I seem to remember some sort of epic battle a few years back, in which 
the bottom-posters won.

There was lots of linking to huge long essays on why bottom posting was 
best.

And anyway, it only makes sense - we read from top to bottom, expecting 
events to occur in that order. It's just lazy and rude to top post, and 
makes deciphering the rubbish being written more of a chore than it 
usually is.

And you smell.
