Kerry showed he has a certain deep understanding of foriegn policy 
without seeming like a windbag. He was clear and resolute, had the right 
facts at the right time. He very effectively fought the bullshit 
rhetorical postions that the talking points dictate with courtesy and 
poise. Kerry admitted mistake in speaking incorrectly about the $87 billion.

I heard the 'same old stuff'* from Bush and saw him get easily flustered 
by Darfur and China. True to what I expected he blandy repeated the 
"world/America is safer" routine.

If you get NBC- watch the Brokaw interview with Guliani to see a 
shortened version and punched up version of the debate. Guliani 
hysterically goes down in flames.

*This was a sly way of saying the new liberal catch phrase for what will 
happen if the current horror that Bush has wrought is allowed to continue.
