Yes, but isn't that what Americans like?
Apparently not.
We can watch or listen to what
was said and think that Kerry sounds a lot brighter than Bush, but I
thought intelligence was a voter turn-off. The Republicans must think
they hit paydirt with Bush. He may be an idiot, but he's an *on-message*
idiot. Straight talkin' without all that high-falutin' book learnin'.
Yes- but his delivery of this on messageness failed because it was
repeated so blandly and so often.
The spell was broken by the man from the North.
He offered an aswer to fear. A clam, diginfied and resolute answer to
the repetition. Even when he talked about the same thing- he had more to
say about it- but it was all, still, simple to understand. No webs. No
wind. No whining.
He will take responsibility and fix the problems.
It was a great performance. He made Bush seem angry and spiteful- not
stupid. It seems they carefully avoided that. They made the world look
more dangerous in the future with Bush. He made Bush do the
Rumsfeld/Wolfowitz- where they crouch in to their anger and loudly say
the on-message burble. Look at him, he looks like hes getting ready to
lunge. They painted a picture of instabilty.

Martin has pointed at a big box of butterflies and said, "there you go, but watch they don't bite, actually I'll do it for you". Robert says "That's not very helpful is it?", you jump in with "God your such a racist!".
