I don't know why you say "fools".

I've often wondered why da poh-lease don't make it a priority to go after people who are known, through the press, to be doing drugs.

Although, hmmm...

See you could argue that it would strike fear into the hearts of drug users if you kept having stories in the press about successful drug busts and celebrity incarcerations/fines.

But perhaps it would just add to the glamour. Or just make the police unpopular.

Not sure.

But when I'd previously thought about it less I used to just think "look, it says there that they're doing drugs, why don't they just send the police round this evening and get them?"
