The winamp forums are there, With the top two being 'obvious stuff 
answered'. Of course 'obvious' only if you know it.

 I managed to download the plugin for foobar 2000, install it and play 
unrecorded tracks for 5 days before i realised you had to put in your 
password and username somewhere...

 The forum will tell you where to find error messages if you dont know 
already.
